You are invited to a presentation / demonstration of Alan Southwick's new sound and video studios. Bring along your favorite CD and/or DVD. We will attempt to play a bit of both during the demonstrations. JVC Professional Video Products will also be on hand to demonstrate one of their latest D-ILA video projectors.

Alan's presentation will describe how he designed and constructed his home studio, approximately 400 square feet, into his basement. One room is devoted to performance/listening; a second room is for production activites with integrated storage facilities. He had the assistance of some of the area's finest acousticians and audiophiles. We will be entertained by a full theatre 5.1 surround system, powered by over 850 watts of audio amplification.

JVC Professional Products will also demonstrate their DLA-G150CL cineline video projector. It is a D-ILA projector with 600 to 1 contrast ratio and 4.2 M-pixel resolution. DTV and HDTV capable, it is one of the brightest and best of the digital projectors available in it's class.
