Roy Gregory is best known as the founder and editor
of Hi-Fi Plus magazine. As an active member of the UK hi-fi industry, he
has played many roles including customer, retailer, manufacturer, distributor
and journalist. He recently joined specialist cable manufacturer Nordost
as VP of marketing.
Working with a consistent set of electronics and speakers,
Mr. Gregory purports to show the sonic impact of changing the AC power cords,
signal leads and supports. He will demonstrate a measurement protocol to
support the notion of the sonic effectiveness of "ancillaries"
such as AC cords and equipment supports.
Guests are always welcome at BAS meetings. We start
with Open Forum, which is open discussion, which lasts 30-45 minutes.
