Topic/Activity: Selling on the Internet
(E-bay, Craigslist), & Are Lap Top Computer Sound Cards Any
Good?
Nick often utilizes the internet to sell audio
items. Like most of us, he has collected more equipment and stuff
than he can use in a lifetime. His presentation will cover how
to photograph items, and the sites most likely to succeed. He
will be joined by another active internet seller, Steve Hluchan.
David Hadaway will discuss the humble yet important subject of
packaging equipment for shipment
In the BASs search for the best audio,
Bob Miller will supply representative lap top computers to run
a few tests to discover if there is sufficient difference among
lap top computer sound cards to warrant our investigation or a
BAS clinic. A couple of the tests will include frequency response,
and distortion.
A final item/discussion will cover selecting
a site for BAS Meetings when parking is unavailable at Boston
University.
