MARCH 2021 ONLINE MEETING NOTICE

Date: Sunday, March 21, 2021, 7:00 PM

Place: ZOOM On-line

Guests: Mark Henninger, Editor of AVSforum
and the Facebook group, Audiophiles on a Budget.

Topic: How to Navigate Video-Audio Forums on the Internet

Mark Henninger is the editor of the corporate owned and well-known audio/video site, AVSforum, and he hosts the Facebook group called Audiophiles on a Budget. Daily he is bombarded with how-to audio and video questions. Often, he is called upon to debunk audio and video myths. Privately, the multi-talented Mark maintains a quality photo/video business.

BAS member Dave Moran maintains that Mark’s AVS management style is spot-on, not too heavy handed but open enough to ensure his followers are well served with quality information and the ‘Best-Of’ consumer equipment. Mark is a largely self-taught audio veteran and a working artist. He resides in Philadelphia and has lived in Boston and Rhode Island.

Our goal is to find out how he keeps his sanity with his time-consuming job(s) and hobbies. The AVSforum has an active For Sale section where members can unload and update their audio-video collections. We will learn why BAS members should join and how to participate in the many forums offered at the AVSforum and Audiophiles on a Budget sites.
